Welcome
Accreditation, from the Latin word credito - to trust - is the means of self-regulation adopted by an educational community to ensure a high level of quality, integrity, professionalism and continuous improvement making member institutions worthy of public trust and confidence.
The Umbrella School Accreditation Commission (USAC) exists for the express purpose of maintaining the freedom to operate umbrella school programs under current state regulations and for the freedom of parents to enroll in umbrella schools operated by the educational institution of their choice.
USAC accredited educational institutions are able to represent themselves as professional organizations worthy of public confidence by acting trustworthy, reaching for high standards and a commitment to continuous improvement.
The Umbrella School Accreditation Commission is a voluntary institution reserved for non-public schools and educational institutions seeking recognition for meeting the highest standard of supervision, integrity and full compliance with state law and regulations.
